The simple words, “here”, “there”, and “where” along with some pointing will take you a long way. So let’s get to it. Let’s go back to the reception from the previous lessons. Mr. Martin asks to have Mr. Chen Shimin pointed out to him. For the answer, you’ll need the word for “there”. Listen. nàr nàr nàr Notice that the word for “there” (“nàr”) is just like the word for “where” (“nǎr”) except that it has the falling tone instead of the low tone. Listen to the exchange.
